Once the journey is completed, the pre-authorisation amount is updated to reflect the actual fare. If the actual fare is less than the pre-authorised amount, only the correct fare will be charged, and the remaining funds will be released back to your account. The release time for these funds depends on your bank’s policies, but it typically takes a few days.
